Buyers Checklist: What To Bring To The Closing Table

Congratulations! You found your dream home and have an accepted offer. You’re ready to close on the home and finalize the mortgage loan that finances your home.

On closing day, you will sign paperwork that transfers the ownership of the home to you. You will have been sent a copy of the preliminary closing statement ahead of time and your Mortgage Loan Officer at Cream City Mortgage will help you prepare everything you need so there are no surprises, and you walk into closing day confident and ready.

Below is a list of items your Mortgage Loan Officer may say you need to bring:

  • Photo ID

  • Payment for Down Payment & Closing Costs – this will be in the form of either a Cashier’s Check or a wire transfer

  • Closing Disclosure: your Cream City Mortgage Loan Officer will provide this for you before the closing day!

Imaging your closing day is an exciting, yet nerve-wracking, moment! Cream City Mortgage will get you set up for success, and we can’t wait to sit at the closing table with you. Now that you know what to expect, contact us to start the process and apply for your mortgage pre-approval.
